Are you a government agency?
No. Florida Fund Recovery is a private firm. We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the State of Florida, the Florida Department of Financial Services, or any other government body.
The State does hold unclaimed property at no cost to you, and you are always free to pursue a claim yourself directly with the State. We are an optional, paid service for people who want experienced help locating, documenting, and recovering funds they may not have known existed.
What does it cost?
Nothing upfront. There are no application fees, no retainers, and no hidden charges.
We work on a 30% success fee based on funds we actually recover for you. If we don't recover anything, you owe us nothing.
How long does it take?
Most claims are resolved within 90 days after the State approves your claim. The timeline depends on the type of property, the documentation required, and the State's current processing times, none of which is fully within our control.
